Bus Breakdown
Let's see how to use the Bus Breakdown button:
Occasionally a bus may break down while you're driving. SMART tag™ makes it easy to switch buses and keep your riders safe and secure.
Tap on "More", then on the red "Bus Breakdown" button.
Easily communicate that your bus is broken down
It is not necessary to use the Bus Breakdown button if another bus that is currently on route will be picking up the students on your bus.
THREE steps when a bus breaks down...
Enter the broken bus ending mileage

Be sure and walk the broken down bus after all students unload to ensure no one is left behind.
Transfer your students to the replacement bus.
