WRONG BUS

When loading students on your bus, there are times when certain students scanning on triggers a WRONG BUS alert. This alert is a crucial feature to ensure students only load onto their assigned bus. 

Let's look at what to do when you receive a wrong bus alert:

Wrong Bus

You will get a WRONG SCHOOL alert when a student attempts to load your bus who does not attend the school for your route.

Inbound Route (home to school)

Any time a student attempts to load on your bus and they are NOT on your roster, you will get a WRONG BUS alert (district configurable).

Outbound Route (school to home)

This example is an outbound route (school to home). The WRONG BUS alert is shown as the student scans their card.

The screen displays the assigned bus for this student so you can direct them to the correct bus.

This example is an outbound route (school to home). The student boarded the bus, and the WRONG BUS screen displays.

Student not assigned to any routes

For this WRONG BUS alert, there is no information showing and we see "BUS: UKNOWN".

The reason is that the student has not been assigned to ANY outbound routes.

No bus number listed
